SEPTEMBER STOCKING
Having only just taken over this fishery , Under our rebranding we stocked the lake with 185kg of hard fighting trout ranging from 2lb - 6lb in weight ... this was to freshen up what fish were resident within the lake.
OCTOBER STOCKING
Following on from our first stocking we stocked 170kg of hard fighting trout ranging from 2lb - 10lb in weight adding to the numbers stocked previous.
WINTER STOCKING NOVEMBER
As we head into Winter we decided to add volume to the lake by way of 300 fish , These ranged from 2lb - 8lb in weight boosting the lakes volume of fish .
We added a further 20 Double Figured hybrid blue strain trout to the lake as a boost to the 2-4lb blue trout already within the lake.
JANUARY 2024 STOCKING
On January 05th We stocked 185kg of hard fighting rainbows from 2lb - 8lb in weight , The average weight being between 3lb & 5lb.
SPRING STOCKING PART 1
On February 21st We stocked part 1 of a double stocking of hard fighting , quality trout ranging from 2lb - 6lb in weight 225kg
SPRING STOCKING PART 2
On February 23rd We stocked part 2 of our Spring Stocking with hard fighting , Quality trout ranging from 8lb - 16lb 185kg in total.
Easter Stocking
Ahead of Easter we freshened up the lake with another 213lb of hard fighting , quality rainbows in time for our Anglers sport. This stocking brings us up to 4 for the year.

May Bank Holiday Stocking
Ahead of the May Bank Holiday we have added another 213lb of fish to our waters ranging from 2lb up to double figures , giving our Fly Anglers great sport with Quality , Hard Fighting fish. Our 5th Stocking this year.

here at Hillside Trout Fishery we simply stock quality , hard fighting fish from 1.5lb to 20lb giving all anglers the chance of a wide range of fish.

Goldie is our resident to Hillside Trout Fishery - weighing around the 10-12lb mark , He is happy within the lake swimming amongst the other fish & gives anglers a treat as he comes up from the depths.
